Andrew Simmons
Investment Analyst
Andrew joined Eriksens to develop our investment analysis team further and enhance our quantitative framework. He has a BA in Physics and earned his PhD in Physics from Cambridge. His experience in banking and finance comes from large corporates, where he valued securities and modelled large scale deals. He also has a wealth of experience in database and web development. At Eriksens, Andrew works in investment analysis, reporting and supporting Rosanna with employee entitlement calculations and other bespoke actuarial work.
When he’s not analysing the world through numbers, Andrew enjoys watching basketball and blocks out his workdays around the NBA Finals - and makes sure to share the highlights with the office drones! Andrew works remotely and enjoys spending the time he would have been commuting over the Harbour Bridge in Auckland with his wife, son and their family dog, Dougal. Dougal, a blonde beauty, is also quite the star whenever he cameos in our twice-weekly team meetings.
